Stance Studio is an architecture and furniture studio specialising in sustainable design.

Based in Copenhagen, the studio offers full architectural services, handcrafted furniture pieces and bespoke design commissions. Thoughtful production techniques and end-to-end development are central to the Stance Studio model, aiming for beautiful spaces with minimal impact on the environment.  

Stance Studio is led by Tasmanian-born, Copenhagen-based architect, Sanderson Bell. Practicing across the fields of furniture and architecture, Sanderson is a specialist in sustainable residential design. The furniture side of Stance Studio was born organically from his passion for woodworking and craft, with days spent in the workshop experimenting with various materials and techniques. Sanderson is also leading architectural expert in the design and application of CLT (cross-laminated-timber).
