BALANCE
BALANCE
This design explores the concept of minimal structure and visual intrusion to result in a playful and lightweight piece.
Originally designed for a young professional couple, short of time and space, the desk can accommodate two people, yet be added to already tight spaces without adding visual clutter.
The solid Tasmanian Oak top appears to balance on the tips of the triangular frames at either end, further emphasising the illusion of weightlessness.
Through refined detailing and sparing material use, the Balance desk challenges how a table must work visually and structurally, to contribute positively to any space.
Available as both a desk and hall table + in a variety of timbers (pictured in Tasmanian Oak).
