The solid+subtract coffee table offers both dependability and flexibility.

A key design driver in the process for the table was to create a robust yet sculptural piece to anchor the space within which it is located, while bringing an engaging  (and dare we say fun) furnishing centrepiece. 

The rounded forms of varying sizes which make up the structure of the table are arranged to provide a different view from every angle, with the intent to create a dynamic dialogue between the viewer, the piece and the space. 

A key aspect of the concept is the intent to allow flexibility via the 'mobile' cylindrical element. This piece is the perfect height to become an extra stool or a side table - amplifying the purposes that the piece of furniture can serve. The design is an invitation for the user to engage with the piece; be it through actively removing and replacing the freestanding element or simply curating their table top based on the diverse shapes.
